Echigo Tsumari Art Field-on March 10?

We're planning to go to Echigo Yuzawa to snowboard on March 10.
Is Echigo Tsumari art field worth going for side trip at that time?

If you like landscape view and you have spare time, I don't see why not.

Still snow covered.

The snow will be your problem. It's a fair trip from Echigo Yuzawa station to the main art sites. And a lot of the sites are on very rural roads (sometimes single track, and quite hilly), which I imagine will be difficult in the snow.

You might be able to more easily get to the main sites (Kinare is great, for instance), but they will still involve winter driving.
