Oshizushi in Tokyo? 2014/2/24 09:44
Hello,

We are enjoying a fun food holiday in tokyo for 8 days.

I have not seen oshizushi here (pressed sushi). Is this typically found in a restaurant? Where do I need to go?

ありがとうございます!

It's sushi preserved in salt and vinegar, and is often covered with antibacterial leaf.

You can get it in 7-11, like this.

And at Tokyo station, there are some oshizushi bento.
Kaki-no-ha-zushi, Masu-zushi and so on.

And also it's called Bou-zushi or Sasa-zushi.

oshi-zushi is Osaka-zushi, or may said as Hako-zushi.
