only sim for nexus 5 bought in india

i bought nexus 5 in india and i am comming to japan for 1 year.i have heard i can not get only sim unless i buy a phone in japan.so,i want to ask can i get only sim,preferably with one year contract from softbank or docomo with voice and data facility,which i can use with my nexus 5

you can get but only from some companies like emobile etc

If you only require data, depending on where in Japan you'll be, another product to consider is WiMax and WiMax2+ by UQ.

The last I checked, Docomo offered a special contract sim for overseas smartphones. B-mobile's voice+data sim-only plans are also priced similarly and operate on the docomo network.
