Unlock AU Android Phone?

Hi all,

I have just start up a new mobile phone contract with AU. I have purchase a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with AU ( Full Payment without any instalment)

May i know can i unlock my phone with AU later if i back to my country?
And may i know how much will it be cost?


(BTW, If i only have 1 Year Working Visa, Is it not possible that i can apply instalment when i making a mobile phone contract? e.g. Softbank, Docomo ?)

I don't think au offers to factory unlock their phones. Regardless, depending on the model phone you should still be able to unlock it and possibly use it abroad.

Phone contracts are in 2 year periods, and most outlets require you to have a visa that covers the entire contract period.
