Casio Electronic Dictionary 2014/4/19 07:58
I have a problem with my Casio XD B7400.
Could anybody that understands Japanese check on the online manual of this product if there is a procedure to reset all settings to factory defaults?
Thanks.

Read the picture instruction on P18 below
http://support.casio.jp/storage/pdf/003/Eu_B_WA.pdf

Turn "OFF" the power as you do.

Page 18 of the instruction manual is Page 20 of the PDF file.

Has it been confirmed that you have to reset all the settings?
If not, what you can do first is to put two new LR6 dry batteries [tan-san kandenchi] correctly.

The procedure is Step 3 on Page 18 of the manual.
When the e-dictionary is folded, you can turn it over and find a very small hole on its back with a sign "RESET" nearby. Using the attached stylus pen, you can push the button inside it through the hole to reset settings.

Then, following Steps 4 to 8, you can open it (Step 4), select the power (Steps 5 and 6) and set the clock (Steps 7 and 8). The attached stylus pen should be put into the holder inside it.
