Power/Outlet Coverter for Canadian traveler 2014/4/22 04:46
I'll be going to Japan from Canada in about a month. It seems like the power voltage in Japan is slightly less than that in Canada. I'm just wondering if I travel to Japan, do I need an actual "power converter" that coverts voltage or do I just need an "outlet converter" that make sure I can plug in my electronics into the wall plug?

You'll need to check your devices for their input voltage, but generally most things should work fine without any converters. The only plug converter you might need is if your devices have a three prong grounded plug. Get something like this before you go:

Never had a problem plugging my camera charger in Japanese hotels.
