Where to buy topographic maps?

I want to buy a topographic map of western Tokyo, and Saitama, around the Chichibu area. Maybe one for the Izu area of Shizuoka as well.
I need these for navigation in the mountains and forests, I want to plan a safe route that avoids dangerous cliffs or impassable areas.
Any help appreciated.

There's a Seibu Libro opposite Junkudo that also has lots of maps.
