Hello:
Does anyone know the update to the Nishi-Shinjuku 3-Chōme Redevelopment? Hope it is not cancelled out. By Shinjuku Station, seems like they are making way for it?

On the English Wikipedia, they say "as of 2010, plans for the complex are still on hold" and on the Japanese Wiki, they say there are no urban planning made as of 2014.

It was cancelled.Too bad, that was the only potential supertall to rise in Tokyo.
However, last year they released some new info about that area and how it could be redeveloped with different planning. It yielded out that we might see two residential towers around 200m each.
Now it's mid 2014 and I didn't hear anything new regarding the new plan, so far...

Maybe Shimizu even Kajima or Mori Company can make something super tall and nice. Osaka already did with Harukas. Also Takenaka's Holonic Tower and the Dynmanic Intelligrnt Building concept by Kajima is also interesting too, but haven't heard much about those.
