Brazil 2014 World Cup on TV 2014/5/23 17:05
Does anyone know which Japanese TV channel or TV service will be showing the 2014 World Cup in Brazil?
I'm pretty sure the free TV channels will show the Japan national team games, plus the opening game (Brazil vs Croatia) and final game, though I'm not sure which channel(s).
Which of the cable or satellite TV channels will show all the games? SkyPerfect? BS Channels? J.Com? Hikari TV?
Thank you in advance.

Sorry I am new to Japan.

I have a TV with B-cas card, I only see BS and CS channels, are these channels braodcasting worldcup? I assume the list above is only terrestial broadcasting or its for satellite as well? will I need to add antenna?

Re: Brazil 2014 World Cup on TV 2014/6/5 20:40
NHK BS1(Pay Channel) repeats all matches later but not on live coverage. CS, WOWOW, Sky Perfect TV don't coverage a match live nor repeat.

Re: Brazil 2014 World Cup on TV 2014/6/6 05:30
You need a TV antenna or aerial on your roof or need to join a cable line(cable TV) to watch terrestrial television channels.
