47 ronin names

Unfortunately, due to the deplorable Keanu Reeves film, the internet is flooded with garbage websites and links to the 47 Ronin film of last year.

I wish to find the list of the actual 47 Ronin. I found one website which listed 33 of them, but I'd like to find a site which lists them all.

I took a photo of each of their grave stones and I would like to match them up to the names. Thank you!

If you have visited "Sengaku-ji Temple", there should be 48 grave stones. The additional grave stone is for 萱野三平重実(Kayano-Sanpei-Shigezane) who had committed suicide before he had joined the battle.

The numbers(1-47) I put above have no meanings.

For a factual description of the event, I could recommend "The Revenge of the 47 Ronin - Edo 1703" (Raid) by Stephen Turnbull. It also exists as a cheap Kindle edition.

I just have to agree with your statement. I have watched the original movies and learned about the true 47 ronin and with the dumb movie, most of the world will think that is the story. I like movies, but don't like when big actors take a famous event or name and create a fantasy! Thank you letting me express my opinion.
