In and out privileges at a sumo tournament 2014/6/29 16:53
I'm attending the next sumo tournament in Nagoya next month and already have tickets. I was wondering if my ticket allows me "in and out" privileges from the stadium so I can attend in the morning, leave for a couple of hours for lunch and return for the last few hours? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes you can. It's officially once only. You can leave from "Kankeisha-deiriguchi"(staff & visitors only exit) once. There "Oyakata"(former Sumo wrestlers) will be standing beside the exit(for security), present your ticket(a half ticket), he will be stamp on your hand, then you can go. As you return, get back from "Tsujo-deiriguchi"(General exit) present your ticket(a half) and show your stamped hand, then you can come back.
