Bike tour to Usuki stone buddha

Hello.

I am heading to Usuki some where in December, and planning to visit Usuki stone buddha.

Does anyone has the experience to take a bicycle from Usuki station to Usuki stone buddha? How long does it take and is there any signboard that leads to the stone buddha along the way? I wanted to try to take a bicycle, but very scare to be lost especially I cannot speak in japanese.

It is not difficult - I did take a bus but there is a tourist office at the station or was in 2012 when I went. I remember reading there was free bicycle rental as well but don't have any info about that. Sorry I can't be more helpful.
