日本語ちょっとを話すことができる.
So, is this sentence right? Is the ちょっと here used correctly? If not, how is the correct syntax? Any tips to keep in mind?
Thanks in advance.

The correct way(s) to say this would be: 日本語をちょっとだけ話すことができる。(I can speak Japanese only a little.) 日本語をちょっと、話すことができる。 (I can speak Japanese a little.)
"chotto" is "a little," but is not an adjective, it is an adverb (so it goes with the verb, not with the noun).
