B-mobile sim cards and foreign smartphone 2014/10/15 22:30
I'll be staying in a variety of countries for year(s) at a time starting with Japan. This is the phone that I'm considering getting which I hope will work with local sim cards: http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_s5_duos-6272.php
Will this international version of the Galaxy S5 work with a B-mobile sim card? the international model number (SM-G900FD) is not the same as the model number given by b-mobile (SC-04F) in their list of supported devices on their website.

Pretty much most (if not all) newer phones should work as long as they're unlocked. The list bmobile has on their website is a collection of phones that they have tested so it's not limited to the list. My phone is an old Galaxy SII X T989D. The exact version isn't on the list, but it's working fine.
