Hi guys,
I want to find a budget restaurant near Uji river to have green-tea soba and dessert. I want to have a dinner there, then go back to Kyoto.
Do you have any suggestion?
Thanks for your help.

as you walk along the street next to the dammed up part of the river (before you cross the bridge) there is a restaurant where you go up some stairs and it essentially overhangs the river. The food there is awesome. I think that they cook on one side of the street then run it over to the eating part on the other.
Green tea icecream is a must too, it is nicer in Uji than anywhere else, I think.

Hi there,
Thanks a lot. Yes, there are a lot of places near by the river, but I wonder if they open for dinner or not.
