Driving to Ikaho Onsen in February

Hello,
I have searched the internet to no avail....
can anyone please tell me, would I be able to drive to ikaho in a hire car February?
Or are the roads closed/too dangerous with snow?

Ikaho is accessible by car year around. People live there year around. Ikaho does not always have snow, but in February there is a certain chance to find winter driving conditions. So, I don't recommend to drive if you have no winter driving skills. If you drive, make sure to get a car with winter tires.
