Is there a Temporary SIM card in Japan 2015/2/2 17:43
I am going to have an educational travel in japan for about 3 weeks. The last time I went Japan I used some free Wi-Fi spots but the signal was really bad that time.

so~! Is there a Temporary SIM card in Japan?
OR Wi-Fi Router~
Better be pre-paid and 1G+ data plan.

I am using 4G phone and I would like upload some pictures on my instagram.

Thank you very much~~

Yes, there are lots of temporary SIM card providers, but AFAIK all the available plans have some limitation or other (mostly in speed and/or quantity of data). Look into b-mobile, econnect, so-net, cdjapan, etc.

Personally, I go with the plans which offer unlimited data but at limited speed (300kbps). The speed is sufficient for me (including for posting pictures on Facebook or Twitter), but YMMV.

Have you checked what is on offer in your country, in hong kong we have a few sim cards on offer, which I consider is better than those in japan.

This question gets asked quite a bit. You'll find plenty of answers by searching the forum.

However, here's a couple of places that rent pocket wifi

I've used Global Advanced and can recommend them.
