Hi, Every now and than i read a message about using a Japanese washlet. I like to mention that another Japanese appliance can also come in handy; a so called hotpot or water boiler. It keeps water hot (adjustable between 100-60 degrees) and are not that expensive (30-40 Euro and up). They are far less expensive than the built-in systems. Of course like with a washlet you need a transformer. I also could mention a ricecooker as another handy appliance. But these you can easy buy in Europe/USA. If you like rice products you might even consider a moshi (rice cake) maker.

Lots of choices of US model hot pots on, for instance, Amazon. No need to buy a Japanese model and use a transformer.
