Sakura in Koyasan

I am travelling second week of April to Koyasan. Is there a Cherry blossom viewing spot in Koyasan?

All I can tell you is that I went to Koyasan just after Golden Week, and the cherry tree in the courtyard of the temple that I stayed at was in just past full bloom and losing it's petals. Koyasan is at a much higher elevation, and will have later blooms.

I would suggest a day in Yoshino, which has three different elevations of cherry blossoms. It is close to Koyasan, and is a very popular cherry blossom spot.
