Kyushu 5 days travel plan 2015/3/17 23:11
I've bought a5 days Northern Kyushu rail pass. Day 1 is from from Kokura to Yufuin, is it a direct train? where I can find the JR train time table? Day 2 is from Yufuin to Kumamoto, what is the route? do I need to change the train from any exchange station? how much time is required? Day 3 is from Kumamoto to Nagasaki, I believe I need to change the train line, may I ask which station to change? what is the route? it takes long time? Day 4 is from Nagasaki to Hakata. I would like to find out the time table of these train route, please help, thanks. YC

You can find all the rail times etc on:

Kitakyushu has a couple of good sights worth seeing if you have the time. Kokura Castle is nice and the view from atop of Sarakurayama is spectacular - especially at night:

For Kumamoto, the castle is the #1 attraction, but don't miss the Suizenji garden - it is one of Japan's finest:

For Nagasaki, don't miss Mt Inasa at night and try the saraudon and chanpon for lunch and dinner.

Fukuoka has a number of places too - the Nanzoin temple is a hidden gem of beauty - and free!
