I will in the Kansai area in November. Itineray as follows:
Day 1: KIX - Osaka
Day 2: Osaka
Day 3: Osaka-Himeji- Osaka
Day 4: Osaka- Nara- Osaka
Day 5: Osaka- Kyoto
Day 6: Kyoto
Day 7: Kyoto
Day 8: Kyoto (Arashiyama)
Day 9: Kyoto
Day 10: Kyoto- KIX
Should I buy a JR Kansai Area Pass for 2 days for day trips to Himeji & Nara? Or should I just buy an Icoca & Haruka Pass for the entire trip?

I recommend to get Icoca & Haruka and a JR Kansai Area Pass for 1 day for the day trip to Himeji. The side trip to Nara is cheaper with Icoca.
