Tea factory & plantation visit Kagoshima

We are in Japan now for one more month and plan to make a tour in Kagoshima prefecture. Our main interest is visiting a tea factory and plantation and if possible doing a tea workshop. I read about "green tea-rism" , but cannot get in touch with anyone about how to arrange a visit and where? Immediately after golden week we plan to leave for Kyushu, from Kyoto. But before making hotel reservations we would want to know what is possible as far as visiting tea factories and plantations? If not in Kagoshima prefecture, then maybe in Miyazaki prefecture? Please, who can give us advice as soon as possible? Thanks, Carl
