Restaurant for Iwagaki oyster in Akita

Can anyone recommend a good restaurant for Iwagaki oyster in Akita?

Being an oyster lover, I hope to try out the Iwagaki oyster which hopeful,y is the right season in Mid June.

Iwagaki！is good choice. I am an Oyster lover too.

I don't know about restaurants.

I will travel to Akita this June and read that Akita is famous for Iwagaki oyster in June. I am not aware that it is also available in other part of the country. I though that this oyster type is coming from Akita prefecture.

Maybe you can provide further input as I will be driving around Tohoku for 27 days.

Yusa town in Yamagata Prefecture is famous for iwagaki , too.
However, it is almost the same area as the previous store.

Sanriku area was famous for iwagaki,before the Great East Japan Earthquake.
I have heard that Reconstruction of those areas are progressing,but I do not know in detail the current situation.

In summer season, My recommend food is cherry and yonezawa beef (in yamagata),peach and enban gyoza = dumplings(in fukushima),inaniwa udon (in akita).

You can eat raw oysters, fried oysters, grilled oysters, gratin, miso soup, and so on for approximately 5000yen. I think that master cannot speak English.

Good season to eat Iwagaki oysters is end of july to begining of August.
