One day trip from to Tokyo to snowy mountain

I will go to Tokyo in the early June like 3 rd of June. I have only a free day or 2 and really want to hike to the mountain. Go from Tokyo in the morning, hiking then going back to Tokyo late in the same day.
Are there any places to hike and see snow to suggest?

You have to go to an elevation of around 2500 meters to get to snow in early June. That is not easily done. The Tateyama-Kurobe Alpen Route was the first destination that came to my mind. Tanks to the Hokuriku Shinkanse, it can now relatively easily be done as a daytrip ftom Tokyo, but it is not cheap: http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e7550.html
