Tokyo Game Show 2015 Tickets

We will arrived in Tokyo on 19 September and would like to visit the Tokyo Game Show. May I ask when will the tickets be available for sale? I check the official website, and there is no link on on line purchase of tickets. Also, roughly how much time is needed to cater for this? We will only be in Tokyo for 2 nights. Thanks.

I wouldn't worry about it. They don't have a limit on the number tickets they can sell and the ticket come in a email that you can just print off whenever.

You can even just show up a buy a ticket at the event entrance although it will cost an extra 100 yen.

The pre-purchase ticket is normally on sale from 10 Jul. The date ma vary this year. It costs you 1000 Yen with a pre-purchase ticket, 1200 Yen for a day ticket.

My apologies for the revival of this thread but has there been any update as to when or where one can purchase these tickets yet? Thank you in advance for the assistance.

Pre-purchase tickets are on sale between 12 Jul 10:00 - 18 Sep 23:59 JST, with 1,000 Yen at major online ticket shops(pia, e-plus etc) as well as some selected retailers(animate, tora-no-ana, Shibuya Tsutaya, Gamers etc).

But if you are coming only on Sept. 19, you should just head to the venue and buy the day tickets right there. You will not be in time for the pre-sale tickets, and they require online registration anyway, which can be a hassle...

Buy your ticket online it's just as easy. you just need to print out a 3D barcode and that's all.

I would recommend you buy the slightly more expensive supporters club ticket if any are left, not only do you get some extras, you get in early and get all the freebies given out by the exhibitors too.
