Kani Doraku in Osaka 2015/6/11 00:04
Hello there,

Hope to get some info here.

I am interested to try out this restaurant when in Osaka. I read somewhere that the lunch menu is cheaper than dinner menu. Would like to check is there two different menu then, one for lunchtime crowd and one for dinnertime crowd? Do both menu feature exactly the same dishes?

Appreciate help. Thanks!

Their lunch menu is between 2000 - 4000 Yen and 5000 - 8000 Yen for dinner. The menu is slightly varied depending on restaurants. Some Kani-Doraku restaurants don't serve high price menu.

Absolutely loved this restaurant. We ordered the 2nd most expensive set, and regret it. We should've ordered the most expensive set :)

If you make a booking, you can request a non-smoking section (if you like).

I have been to a Kani Doraku in the suburbs of Kyoto and loved the food there. It was for lunch (significantly cheaper than dinner) and so we had a higher priced course. We loved it.
