Japanese lullabies 2015/6/11 05:52
Hi,
I need some help with finding Japanese lullabies, not just translations of western lullabies but original Japanese ones.

I want to sing them to my newborn daughter as a contrast to all western lullaby songs like Twinkle Little Star etc....

Many are old & in local dialects and sad, home sick and longing for better life or family because a small girl from very poor farmer family is often sent out afar as the live-in baby sitter to a well off family due to lack of food at home.
Itsuki no komoriuta, Shimabara no komoriuta, Chugoku region komoriuta, Takeda no komoriuta(Kyto, banned in the past due to discrminated burakumin villager folk song), Edo komoriuta, etc.
