Just wondering where is the biggest music/guitar store in Tokyo?

There are a lot of huge musical instrument stores inTokyo.
The most huge area is 'Ochanomizu city'.
Next is Shibuya and Shinjyuku.
Wherever you are able to find out your favorite one.
You know? there are most biggest music store area in the world!!

Take 'JR Yamanote line'.
Thease city are very close to Tokyo station,paticurally Ochanomizu.

I recommend Disc Union for music... there are a few shops (each for a different genre: Heavy Metal, Punk, Progressive Rock, Club, Jazz.. etc) around the southeast exit of Shinjuku Station, and there's a bigger one at Ochanomizu (you can get to Ochanomizu by getting on the Chuo line rapid service from Shinjuku or Tokyo station)
There are a lot of good guitar shops at Ochanomizu as the other person said.. there are also some small shops around Shinjuku and Shibuya.
Oh yeah, be sure to check Shin Okubo as well! There's a big acoustic shop, and a small (but really cool) used guitar shop there.

There is a music shop at the Mycal Honmoku shopping plaza.

You need to catch JR to Ishikawacho station then bus.

The best acoustic guitar shops would be Kurosawa Gakki's Dr. Sound. This shop is newly remodled. They have a great selection and staffs. Also new McPherson Guitars. Must see to believe, beauty, sustain, sound. Hand made in USA www.mcPhersonguitars.com to see more and download free acoustic guitar music. Some of the best I've heard.

There is a guitar shop on the 5th floor of one of the shopping centres at Sapporo JR station (Stellar something??). On the same floor as HMV. They have a small selection but it's a good place to start. If you find out any better stores (I am looking for a Gretsch) could you please reply to this answer. Thanks.
