Learning both surfing and diving in Okinawa

Hello,
Hiking and sightseeing for almost 3 years in Japan made me miss more sporty holiday. I would like to learn surfing, but I also enjoy snorkelling (which I can do on my own) and diving (for which I would need someone experienced). According to what I have read Okinawa and surroundings are a good destination for both, but I can't find any single place that claims, that it is easy to do both in this specific place. I mean, for example: no surf, go diving. Surf, go surfing.
If anyone could point me to such places, I would be grateful.

I wonder if this can get you started. http://www.pinnacle7.info/?men=6Have you ever been to Okinawa? I don't really do marine sports myself, but my impression is that where there are enough waves to surf, it's not worth diving, and where diving can be entertaining there aren't waves to surf. So I'm not sure if you can do both at one beach, but I suppose the above shop arranges both and therefore is likely to be detailed on whatever you need to know. If you need language assistance on their following inquiry form, post again. http://www.pinnacle7.info/fmail/toiawase.html

Thank you!
This place looks good. Basically it means that for such stuff I need to look in Japanese, not that easy, but maybe doable.

If you are beginner of Surfing, I do not recommend to surf in Okinawa. Surf point of Okinawa is coral leaf and it is not easy. It's depend on where you visit/live, please use following . http://www.surf-reps.com/point.htmlI like surfing. Let's enjoy it together!!!

Okinawa has some of the best diving locations in the world in my opinion. There are numerous dive shops you can go to and earn your PADI certification.
Depending on the season you'll see varying surf conditions, but there are also many locations you can surf at. And don't worry, it's not too difficult to learn how to surf in Okinawa.
