Can someone help me translating these please? They are 2 different sentences from 2 different context.

ただ、馴れ合うだけの付き合いなら孤独の方を選ぶがな。

無論、無駄な手間をかけたりはしない。

This 馴れ合う (with this kanji) is a bit difficult to translate, but above is my interpretation.

無論、無駄な手間をかけたりはしない。

- Of course, I would not (do anything like) spending/putting time & efforts in vain.
