Affordable Supermarkets 2015/10/20 17:19
Are there any cheap or affordable large (lots of choices) supermarket or grocery stores near dobutsuen-mae station in Osaka?

these grocery stores should be similar to E-Mart in korea in terms of prices. we would love to buy local Japanese snacks, chocolates, noodles and even bath soaps as souvenirs for our family back home. Hopefully the prices are not that expensive that are usually found on high end department stores or supermarket.

Near the subways would be an advantage.

already asked this in tripadvisor but hopefully here for other options in mind.

thanks

for snacks, take the subway to Nippombashi Station and walk around the Kuromon Market street. There are two stores which specialize in candy and other snacks
