Hi There,
I'm considering applying to the ITASIA program in The University of Tokyo through the MEXT scholarship system. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about this program? I heard that the department (School of Interdisciplinary Information Studies) isn't so welll-respected within Todai? Also, the masters qualification is an 'M.A.S' (Master of Advanced Studies). Is this a reputable qualification, or worse than an M.A. or M.S?
