Wedding Venue Prices 2016/1/27 14:52
Hi,

I'm not sure if it's a language barrier, but are the prices in Japan negotiable for these sorts of things? I've been emailing a venue (Hilton) about their wedding package and the price keeps increasing every time I ask him to clarify what's in his 'package'.

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced chapel in the Tokyo area for a ceremony? Thank you!

Have you tried asking a Hilton customer service in your own country? Usually they can assist you in your language about Hilton branches outside your country.

Meanwhile, do either of the bride and groom live in Japan? If so, municipal-operated venues (such as kenmin-kyosai venues) can give you more reasonable prices.

Otherwise, name the area you wish to have your wedding at, and perhaps someone will be able to help you.

those kinds of prices vary depending on how you ask them.
generally, prices are high in spring and autumn, probably cheaper in summer.
I think you should distinguish real marriage, ceremony, and party.
a hotel is a place where a couple opens a party. a ceremony is an appendix.
