hello,
I am from India. My elf and my husband with our kid would like to come to Japan and serve as a missionary. I would like to know the visa type that they would provide fr missionaries. And also I would like to know whether we could work on religious visa as well in Japan.

Religious Activities status requires that you be "dispatched by a foreign religious organization", and of course does not allow you to do any paid work other than religious activities.

The visa is typically something that is arranged by the religious organization that dispatches you. You should figure it out with them.
