trying to obtain birth certificate 2016/3/3 06:44
My name is Joshua Parker and my father was in the Airforce in 1979. I was born in Mosawa Saporrow Japan and in need of my birth certicate. How do I go about doing so? It is urgent that I get it as soon as possible.

Have you asked the U.S. Military? U.S. Military bases in Japan is technically the U.S.A. They are not part of the Japanese government.

Birth on US Military Base or Facility

People born on a United States military facility outside of the United States should contact:

American Citizens Born Abroad
Department of State
Correspondence Branch
Suite 510
1111 19th Street NW
Washington, DC 20522
(202) 955-0307

Good luck

By the way, I just realized that "Mosawa Saporrow" doesn't make sense. You should double-check the name of the place before making your inquiry. Perhaps it was Misawa air base in Aomori Prefecture, which is located about 300 kilometers south from the city of Sapporo.
