JP immigration offices: smaller is better? 2016/3/3 21:42
The popular opinion seems to be that smaller Immigration offices are more friendly, but in terms of visa processing, does it actually make a difference in outcomes? I'm specifically interested in knowing: If you take your visa application to a smaller office, do they actually process it at the smaller office, or do all visa applications go to the central large Japanese immigration offices for processing?

You don't have a choice anyway: you must go to the office with jurisdiction over your place of residence.
