English speaking schools in Aomori? 2016/6/7 22:20
We are moving to Japan at the end of the summer. We have a 7 year old who will be in school. Are there English speaking schools there or would I be better trying to home school him?

Where exactly in Aomori? If you mean Aomori city, than there is none. There seems to be one in Rokkasho. http://rokkasho-is.jp/en.html

Homeschooling is technically illegal in Japan, although for foreign children it seems that mostly nobody cares (with potentially dramatic consequences).

Illegal? Oh,no. Weare also looking at Goshogawara but its hard to find anything on line. I just dont want to throw my son into a school not speaking any Japanese

Schools are one of the biggest headache for foreign parents in Japan. Public schools have only Japanese curricullam and English language international schools are limited and way too expensive
