Biggest/best gachapon spot in Tokyo? 2016/7/11 00:22
I spend four or five hours walking around akihabara today and didn't see anything resembling the shops filled with capsule machines, just rows of them on street corners and down alleyways. Can anyone tell where I need to look? I'm guessing it's hidden pretty good on one of the upper levels or something because I peeked inside virtually every shop in the neighbourhood. Either that or I was just being blind.

Alternatively, any better suggestions elsewhere in Tokyo?

Akihabara Gachapon.
MN Building, 1F, 3-15-5 Soto-Kanda, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo

It worthwhile to visit Nakano Broadway Bldg in Nakano, Tokyo.
There are lots of Gachapon machines(at hobby shop "Pony") and gachapon figures sold individually there.

Thank you both! That was supposed to be "spent" past tense so no not too late, I'll be going back for sure. I'll scout out Nakano Broadway too, it's only a few minutes walk from my hotel.

Thanks again

Akiba Yodabashi has a lot of them. Other places, such as a few places in Odaiba also have a few.
