How is ALT work in Kansai?

I've been teaching English in Kanto for 10 years, but I would like to move to Kansai next year. I've visited the Kansai area a few times, but how is it teaching English there compared to Kanto?
Are the working conditions and pay similar? Is there anything I should be aware of?
