Sending parcel using Japan postal service 2016/9/21 03:41
Hi

When I'm in Japan in a few weeks time, I plan to shop a lot. I want to post a parcel back to UK rather than brining it back with due to limited suitcase space.

Do I need to buy specific box from post office? Is there any difference which I need to know about when sending parcels in Japan? Other than weighing and they telling you how much it cost.

Thanks

Elly

Depending on which type of shipping method you want to go with, there are some size/weight limit, so you might want to watch out for those.

For example:

If it's for small packets:

Also if it is a parcel you'd be asked write out the contents, so be sure you know what items you have in it (e. g., 5 t-shirts, 2 books, etc.).

If you can find sturdy boxes yourself, that will be fine.
