Where can I deposit cash? 2016/10/12 20:42
So Where can I deposit cash to european bank account?; I will get a stipend here at Japan two times and it is paid cash. I would like to secure it and deposit some of it to my bank account. And I have to pay my bills to home country also. Visited JP Bank today with a japanese person and they told I cannot deposit without a japanese personal ID number.

What would be the best way to to this and how much different options cost?

Thank you very much!

What is your residency status? Are you able to get a Japanese bank account?

I only live here for 2 more months, under, so I would not want to make a japanese account.

I think I will try the WU next. Maybe send then email also.
Thanks!

you can't send money to foreign countries, if you don't have "my number". the law is effective from Jan. 1, 2016.
also, you can't receive money from abroad, if you don't have that number.
