Is it bad to chat everyday in Line

Hi guys! Does it sound bad or something if I chat everyday in Line? I know you didn't understand what I mean. If I chatted everyday with a Japanese person in Line, are they going to think I'm annoying or bad? I read in a question in this website's forum, that saying Hi everyday to a person sounds like you are a stalker or something. What if I have a topic to talk about not only Hi????! And yeah, my reason is: because I want to stay in touch with that person and become good friends. Thank you in advance!

I dont think so.
Way back before facebook, messenger was a separate Microsoft program. People would chat on that for hours every day.
Seems Line just has brought back an old past time in a new decade.

Do they reply you genuinely, I guess there's no problem. Not just a hi back without much input.

Chokohime,
I think you're talking about a thread about a random co-worker sending an email every day at the office. That's not at all the same thing as chatting to friends every day.
That said, some people might think that chatting every day is too time-consuming, and some people might simply enjoy it. It really depends on the individual, so you should ask that person to make sure.
