Arthouse/Japanese films with English subs?

Hi I will be staying at Hiroshima, Takamatsu and Tokyo in April. As I'm a cinema buff, I would love to have the chance to experience filmgoing in Japan. I'm interested more in arthouse/world cinema and Japanese films than the mainstream Hollywood releases. I know English-subtitled screenings in Japanese cinemas are pretty rare, but can anyone suggest any cinemas where I may have a chance to catch them? (I know there's the Tokyo Moviegoer website - http://tokyofilmgoer.com/) Thanks!
