Looking to play Golf in Japan alone

Hello,
I'm heading to Tokyo for 10 days in late October/early-November and one of the activities I'd like to do is play Golf. I've been referred to a couple sites, they're all mostly in Japanese and I'm having a hard time figuring it out.
Ideally, I'd like to meet someone beforehand who's already in Japan that would join me to make a pair but they got rid of the Japan PenPal feature which sucks :( . I'll also need to rent clubs because shipping mine would cost a lot.
I understand Golf takes all day there because they have lunch in between 18 holes and what not, but I just want to experience a beautiful course in Japan.
ANY information would be helpful. Thank you very much!
