Using Unlocked Phone On Softbank 2017/9/12 17:51
Does anyone have any experience using an unlocked international phone on Softbank? I recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (SM-G935F) from Amazon. The phone is international and unlocked according to all accounts and the reviews on Amazon were good. I inserted the SIM card and it is connected to the Softbank network but there is no data connection. The only reason I have a Japanese cell number is for the data since the international plans from Verizon are expensive if you want data. Any ideas on how to fix this and get a data connection? Or did I just now a very expensive mistake? Thanks in advance!!!!

What is this Softbank SIM? How did you buy it? What kind of plan is it for?

If you have a plan of softbank you need to manual enter the APN settings.
Since this is not a standard Softbank phone you need to find the correct APN setting with your plan. You can ask this information at softbank, they have English speaking support.
