Norikuradake hike in mid-late May

Hi hh.
I was thinking of possibly checking out the Norikuradake as there is a bus heading near the summit. But not sure how much snow it could be in May. Is it possible to hike up to the summit on 3026 m from the bus parking or is it just possible to stay in the parking area?
