Nyuto onsen tattoo?

Do you know if there are any tattoo friendly onsen baths in the Nyuto onsen area? I am not sure if it is worth going there if I cannot use the onsen baths because of my tattoo. Its not big but I dont want to risk being thrown out...

Buy a tatoo cover sticker at local pharmacy or discount shop.

Thee majority of onsen associations do not permit to use onsen with those people tatoo on except you will use a private onsen.

I was in Nyuto onsen yesterday. I didn't SEE any sign against tattoos BUT that does t mean they are allowed.
If as you say your tattoo is small, just cover it with some tape , or the tattoo cover the previous poster mentioned, and you will be fine.
Alternatively you would best need to call the specific onsen before. Maybe your hotel somewhere else can help.
