Hi guys! Soon I will fly to Japan and want to buy an iphone. I'm from Russia. Can I buy a iphone without binding to a cellular operator (SimFree) and will it work in Russia with my cellular operator? Thnx!

At Apple store you can buy free iPhones. Will it work in Russia? No idea. But there should be some iPhone webpages out there that can help you with that.
Just curious, what is the benefit of buying it in Japan? Are they cheaper here? Maybe you get tax free (not sure) so that might render them cheaper.

Check the official apple site, it will show you which version iphone supports your country.
