Hi, I intend to do a day/half day trip to Kamakura but besides the Great Buddha there, is there anything to explore or see there?
Thanks.

There totally is. I personally could spend 4 days in Kamakura plus one in Enoshima.
My personal favorite is Kita Kamakura. However if I start there I never make it to Kamakura proper (and the Daibutsu).
If you go to Enoshima consider a visit to the onsen in Kozashibuya on your way back. It is right outside the station on the 5th floor of a building. I know this doesn't sound very romantic, but for me it is one of the best super-sento around Tokyo. I personally cannot recommend the Onsen on Enoshima. For me it's not a proper onsen. Well it has a small onsen part (interior only) but the rest is more like a play swimming pool where you need to wear swimsuit and all. Some people might prefer that, but with the superb location they have, they have not used that right in my eyes.
If you are fortunate you will also be able to see mt Fuji from Enoshima.
In Enoshima make sure to cross the entire island until the rocky beach from where you have very nice views. There are also some restaurants high above just before you get there. The entrance to Enoshima with all its tourists and shops might be putting down, but it gets better the more you advance.
The train ride between Enoshima and Kamakura on the enoden line is also an attraction in itself.
Enjoy your trip to Japan!

Oh yes! It's a great place as others have said. I would go just to visit Hasedera and Tsurugaoka Hachimangu. Next time I go I must take the Enoden, I have no idea why I havent before.

@Luisjp I totally agree that neither Enoshima nor Kamakura (is there even an onsen?) is an onsen destination. But if you spend a day in Enoshima and would like to enjoy a soak afterwards in what would technically be called "super-sento", I recommend the one in Kozashibuya.
Just as a perfect conclusion of a day out in Enoshima or Kamakura.

Inamuragasaki Onsen? The score by Google is lower than Ohuro no Osama in Koza-Shibuya, though. https://www.google.co.jp/maps/search/スーパー銭湯+鎌倉/@35.3060711,139.4998147,14z Koza-Shibuya is one of the famous spots to shoot a picture of Shinkansen. It is almost in the middle of Shin-Yokohama and Odawara. The train reaches one of the fastest speed there. After the advent of the JR Central Chuo Maglev, there would be a new JR Central station either at there or on JR East Sagami Line. I usually recommend spending the daytime in the Kamakura-Enoshima area and the evening at an onsen in the Hakone-Izu region. The sunset at Enoshima and the dinner either at Yokohama MM21 or Yokohama China Town should be also nice.
