Koyasan and Kumano area

Hi, we are leaving for Koyasan and Kumano in two week times. How ever with two typhoons went through this area we beginning to have doubts should we spend 6 days in this area! Wondering anyone could help us with the latest information on this two area after typhoon will be appreciated! Thank you!

at present, no train between Koya-shita and Gokurakubashi in Nankai railways. http://www.nankai.co.jp/railinfo.htmlyou have to get off the train at Hashimoto station, and use buses to Koyasan. (probably take more time than you expect.) if you have large luggage, it is not easy to go there.
